LCF stands for LongtimeCountryFan - that's me.

I've been a fan of country music since I can remember, going back to the early sixties. I've been even more a fan of those unique individuals who can not only write great songs, but have the vocal chops to bring those songs to life.

On this site, I'll offer my opinion of CD's released by singer/songwriters of the past, present and future. Hopefully, I'll be able to introduce you to some bright new talent and perhaps re-introduce you to some legends who you may not have thought of recently.

By the way, if you're looking for some sort of rating scale, don't bother. I know what I like, and what I don't, and I'll pass that along. I'm just not one who can put a degree of "good" on a CD. It's either worth the money, or it's not.
